Ingredients (Buy locally grown organic ingredients, if possible)
2 Tablespoons whole-wheat flour
4 Tablespoons whole-milk, more as needed
Pinch of cinnamon, freshly ground
1/4 teaspoon unsalted homemade butter
Homemade vanilla-bean sugar syrup, to taste
Equipment needed: Waffle Maker
1. Preheat your waffle iron while you make the waffle batter.
2. Whisk together the wheat flour, milk, cinnamon powder and butter until smooth textured is reached.
3. Pour the batter carefully into the center of the waffle iron and cook it as directed in the instructions that came with your waffle maker.
If you notice excessive batter seeping out of the edges of the iron, try using less batter for the next waffle.
