Ingredients (Buy locally grown organic ingredients, if possible)
2 Tablespoons whole-wheat flour
4 Tablespoons whole-milk, more as needed
1/4 teaspoon unsalted homemade butter
Pinch of cinnamon, freshly ground
1/4 teaspoon ghee (clarified butter)
Homemade vanilla-bean sugar syrup
Equipment needed: Round Cast-Iron Griddle
1. Whisk together the wheat flour, milk, butter and cinnamon powder until smooth textured is reached. Let it rest after mixing for 5-10 minutes.
2. Preheat the griddle and lightly coat it with ghee. Once the griddle is ready, pour the batter carefully into the center of the heated griddle. Let the pancake cook at low-heat until it starts to bubble and edges are golden brown.
Don’t over flip the pancakes while cooking. Flip at the right time.
